As one of the world's largest airlines, Delta has taken on the task of transporting people and goods around the planet. The history of Delta Air Lines goes back to 1920, when Thomas Huff Daland and Elliot formed Ogden aeroway Corp in Bristol, Pennsylvania, which later became known as Huff Daland Aero Air Company known. Huff Daland source and build aircraft for the Army and Navy, but in 1925 a plan for crop dusting has designed air. The name "Delta" was selected for the region to serve the new company. The first passenger service Delta 1929 was on a street in Dallas, Texas, to Jackson, Mississippi. The company takes its name Delta Air Lines changed to 1945.
